Terms and Conditions

Welcome to AquaBubble Swim Academy. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, policies, and expectations for using our services and participating in our swimming lessons. By booking classes or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

Our aim is to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for children to learn to swim.

About Us

  • AquaBubbles Swim Academy offers swimming lessons for people aged from 16 weeks.

Eligibility & Enrolment

  • Bookings must be made by adults aged 18 or over.

  • Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment or valid direct debit setup.

  • By enrolling, you confirm that all provided information (including medical details) is accurate and complete.

Lesson Structure

  • Group Lessons:

    • Run for 48 weeks per year, with a 2-week break in December.

    • Lessons are 30 minutes long.

    • Your space is secured through monthly payments.

  • Private Lessons (1-to-1 or 2-to-1):

    • Available in packs of 4, 6, or 8.

    • Valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.

    • Lessons not used within this period will be forfeited unless due to medical or exceptional circumstances.

    • To retain your space, payment must be made before the final booked lesson.

Payment Terms

  • Group lessons are paid via fixed monthly instalments, spread evenly over the year, covering 48 weeks of lessons.

     

  • Payments are taken by Direct Debit on the 1st of each month.

     

  • AquaBubble Swim Academy may adjust fees with appropriate notice.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Missed Lessons:

     

    • Missed group lessons are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled or credited.

       

    • Missed private lessons will be deducted from your pack unless cancelled with at least 24 hours written notice.

       

  • Lessons Cancelled by AquaBubble Swim Academy:

     

    • A replacement class or credit will be offered.

       

  • Refunds:

     

    • Refunds are not offered except in exceptional medical cases, where a doctor’s note may be required.

       

  • Cancelling Your Place:

     

    • We require one month’s written notice to cancel your place and stop your Direct Debit.

       

    • Once cancelled, your place may be offered to another swimmer.

Illness & Medical Conditions

  • Do not attend lessons if you or your child are unwell, especially with infectious conditions.

     

  • For vomiting or diarrhoea, swimmers must not attend for at least 48 hours after all symptoms have cleared.

     

  • A doctor’s note may be requested before returning after serious illness or injury.

     

  • AquaBubble Swim Academy staff are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose or treat conditions.

Health & Safety

  • Swimmers may only enter the pool once a qualified teacher is ready.

     

  • A responsible adult must remain on-site for the duration of the lesson.

     

  • Parents are responsible for supervising children outside of the lesson (e.g. in changing areas).

     

  • No outdoor footwear is permitted poolside. Please remove shoes or use overshoes.

     

  • All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.

     

  • Babies and toddlers not yet potty trained must wear a double nappy (swim nappy + neoprene outer nappy).

Instructor & Behaviour Policy

  • We aim to keep teaching consistent but may provide a cover teacher when necessary.

     

  • All instructors are trained, DBS-checked, and briefed on your child’s progress and needs.

     

  • Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the programme without refund.

     

  • Parents and swimmers must follow all instructions from staff and teachers at all times.

     

  • No running, rough play, or food (except water) is allowed poolside.

Spectators

  • One adult must remain on-site per child during lessons.
  • No other spectators are allowed poolside – one adult only.
  • No food or drink allowed poolside (except water)

Valuables & Lost Property

  • Please avoid bringing valuables to lessons.

     

  • AquaBubble Swim Academy accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged personal belongings.

Image & Media Consent

  • Occasionally, we may take photographs for marketing or promotional purposes.

     

  • These will only be used with your prior written consent – given when you sign up and changeable on the parent portal.

     

  • Photography or filming by parents/guardians during lessons is not permitted unless approved in advance.

Data Protection & Privacy

  • We collect and process personal information in line with UK GDPR.

     

  • Data is used solely for managing your bookings, communicating with you, and ensuring the safety of participants.

     

  • We do not sell or share your data with unrelated third parties.

Changes to Terms

  • We may amend these Terms at any time.

     

  • The latest version will always be available on our website.

Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
